Vintage Wedding at the Historic Castle Green in Pasadena

Vintage charm, and timeless romance

at Patrick and Caitlins unforgettable wedding

If you follow my work then you'll definitely recognize this lovely couple from their stunning engagement session among the giant trees of Sequoia National Park. I can't even begin to express how special that engagement  session was to me. It was a major turning point for me as I was so enamored by it, I completely changed the look and focus of my wedding photography. After that first engagement in Sequoia with them I've gone on to have the pleasure of photographing weddings, engagements and elopements in National Parks all over the country. For that, I am so incredibly thankful.

Now as you might imagine, I was anxiously anticipating working with Patrick and Caitlin again for their wedding. I knew these two lovebirds were going to have an unforgettable wedding and I just couldn't wait for January to arrive. It was well worth the wait. For their wedding they had chosen the Castle Green in Pasadena as their venue. Entering this historic hotel is like walking out of a time machine. Built in 1898 the Castle Green is one of the oldest buildings still standing in Los Angeles county. This nationally registered historic monument has been painstakingly restored and furnished with gorgeous antiques from the Victorian era. The grounds are spectacular featuring a lily pond, towering trees and lush, well kept lawn that is just perfect for an outdoor ceremony.

It's hard to imagine a wedding venue that's better suited for vintage themed weddings. As you will see below, It certainly made an ideal setting for this next great chapter in Patrick and Caitlin's love story.
