Romance in the woods of Mt. San Jacinto

I've had the pleasure of know these two love birds for many, many years. All the way back before they were even remotely interested in one another. Over the years I watched as they went from acquaintances, to friends, to a couple, and then finally after what seemed like forever, haha, they got engaged. I knew this was going to be a special engagement session, and something this special needed the perfect location. Enter the stunning woods of Mt San Jacinto.

It's not hard to see why this location made my list of best places to elope in California. The mountain is a dreamscape of granite boulders speckled with colourful lichen, and towering pines that smell like butterscotch. No joke! Normally a rugged mountain landscape like this is only accessible after a grueling hike but that's what makes this spot  unique. The Palm Springs Aerial Tram Takes you 8,000ft from the valley floor to the mountain above, dropping you off right in the heart of Mt. San Jacinto State Park. During the summer this provides a much appreciated escape from the heat as at over 8,000ft the temperature here is far cooler than the boiling desert below. Come winter, this is an easy way to get access to a snowy winter wonderland. No matter the time of year, it is the perfect engagement location, or an absolutely unique elopement destination.

Now then, sit back and take a look at this lovely engagement session.
